Joty Dosanjh is a Web Developer, Graphic Designer and Storyteller based in Vancouver BC. In October 2020, she graduated from the New Media Design and Web Development Diploma program at BCIT. Joty initially completed her certificate New Media Design and Web Development (which was then a certificate program) in October 2018. Since then, Joty has worked with organizations such as App Growth Network, Watershed Watch Salmon Society and owns her own business Joty Dosanjh Designs.
Jotys passion and drive for design started at a young age and flourished when she took digital arts in her junior year in high school. Thanks to her digital design teacher, she was introduced to programs like Photoshop and Flash (now animate), and to HTML and CSS skills which she had learned in her sophomore year. Joty is also a graduate of Stenberg College, having obtained her Diploma as a Nursing Unit Clerk in 2011.
In BCITs New Media Design and Web Development program, Joty liked creating websites with innovative techniques such as Flexbox and Grid (this is visible on her portfolio website which she had hand coded). Joty wants to further develop her skills while in the workforce as an individual and team member. Being a past sales associate at Walk with Ronsons, Joty developed an understanding on what it takes to succeed in a team environment while improving her problem-solving skills when it comes to customer service.
In her spare time, you can find Joty drawing, painting, or gaming. She also loves to bake items from scratch.
You can find her tinkering and constantly improving her portfolio website. She can also be reached by Email

Most of the cookie cutters are from local bakery supply places since some unique ones are hard to find. Her favorite cookies she ever done has to be the Alice in Wonderland themed sugar cookies that she made for her friends bridal shower last summer. She also loves baking sugar cookies for every holiday.
